Getting Started
Installation & First Run
Download the anelo installer for your platform from the download page. The installer is a standard executable — no package manager or CLI required.
Windows
Run the .exe installer. Accept the default install location (C:\Program Files\Anelo) or choose a custom path. The installer registers GPU drivers and verifies CUDA availability during setup.
macOS
Open the .dmg and drag anelo to your Applications folder. On first launch, macOS may prompt you to allow the application. GPU acceleration requires an Apple Silicon Mac or a supported AMD GPU.
Linux
Download the .AppImage and mark it as executable. Run it from the terminal or your file manager. NVIDIA users need CUDA 11.8+ and the latest proprietary drivers. AMD users need ROCm 5.4+.
First launch
When you open anelo for the first time, the app runs a quick GPU benchmark to determine optimal batch sizes and memory limits for your hardware. This takes about 30 seconds and only runs once.
After the benchmark, you are on the main dashboard. Drop a video file onto the window or use the file picker to select your first source. The default pipeline preset runs upscaling, depth estimation, and stereo conversion with comfort-first settings.
