Built with early access partners.

anelo is in early access. These are stories from the teams and creators who have been testing the pipeline and shaping the product since the beginning.

What early access partners say

We converted an entire season of archival footage overnight. The quality was consistent across every episode — something that would have taken a team of artists months to match.

Day-after highlight delivery in 3D was previously impossible without a dedicated conversion crew. We ran the match footage through anelo and had stereo clips ready for the morning social push.

I took four years of travel vlogs and turned the best clips into a VR reel. The batch processing handled everything — I just dropped the folder and walked away.

Converting a 10-Episode Season to Stereo 3D

Challenge

A production company needed to convert a legacy 2D television season for VR distribution. Manual stereo conversion at a traditional VFX vendor would have run into multi-month timelines and high six-to-seven figure budgets — making the project commercially unviable to greenlight despite the content being valuable in 3D.

Solution

Using anelo desktop with batch processing, the team ran the full season through depth estimation and stereo conversion on two workstations with RTX 4090 GPUs. Preflight scoring flagged problematic frames (heavy VFX composites with unusual depth cues) that were excluded from automated processing and addressed separately.

Results

Ten episodes were converted in three overnight batch runs. The total processing time was approximately 40 hours of unattended GPU time. Output quality was consistent across episodes, with the preflight scoring successfully filtering the 3-5% of frames that would have produced visible artifacts.

Building a Stereo 3D Content Pipeline for Headset Launch

Challenge

An XR studio targeting an upcoming headset platform needed to deliver a full launch-window catalog of stereo 3D content. Cloud conversion APIs introduced unacceptable latency for their iteration loop and per-call costs that would have consumed the platform partner advance entirely.

Solution

The team integrated anelo into their existing content tooling via the Studio tier job API. Source clips entered the pipeline, ran through preflight scoring, depth estimation, and stereo export, then exited as deliverable SBS files at headset-native resolution — all on the studio’s own GPU infrastructure.

Results

Over the course of the launch window, the pipeline processed hundreds of clips per sprint with no per-minute cost. Depth quality met the platform comfort thresholds on the first pass for over 95% of submitted clips. The remaining cases were flagged by preflight before processing and routed to manual review.
